Q: Can I use your API without changing my existing CRM/CMS/SAP/ERP/Tally other software ?
A: Yes, our API can be called from any existing software.

Q: Can you provide examples of good use cases?
A: Sending account update, notifications, bills, reminders, address location are the best use cases while you can ask for the OPT-IN message to initiate other type of communication.

Q: Can Banks or Insurance use services of Absit?
A: Yes, Govt. of India allowed banks and insurance to choose their own technology service provider for digital documentation services.

Q: In which cases my number will be undoubtedly banned?
A: If you send unsolicited messages, the most likely scenario is that your number gets banned by WhatsApp

Q: Which type of files can I send?
A: Text, Pictures (PNG and JPG), Audio (OGG) and Documents (PDF). You can send links containing any type of file (documents, videos, audios etc)

Q: Which type of files can I receive?
A: You can receive pictures, emojis, links and audios in your panel.

Q: If I send text+images, text+audio or text+pdf will it count as a single message?
A: Text + image, text + audio or text + file must be sent separately. In one message the text, in another the file.

Q: Can I send Videos?
A: It's not possible to send attached videos but you can send a link from Youtube or any other streaming platform that will enable the recipient to see the video.

Q: Can I send a message that contains a hyperlink?
A: Yes, but the recipient must have written you a message at least once before in order to click on it.

Q: Which characters can I receive or send in text messages?
A: All characters, including emojis are accepted.

Q: Does the service support all alphabets and languages?
A: Yes, it supports all alphabets and languages.

Q: Can I make and receive calls?
A: No, you can not make or receive calls.

Q: Can I, from the same account, receive and send messages to several countries simultaneously?
A: Yes.

Q: What's the sending speed?
A: 500 messages per hour.

Q: Is there any limitation on the number of messages that can receive and send?
A: There is not limit. You can send and receive as many messages as you like. Current sending speed is around 500 messages per hour.

Q: Can I, from one account, manage several numbers?
A: No. One account will have only one registered number.

Q: If I send a picture or audio of big size, does the sending speed decreases?
A: No.

Q: Some players are offering bulk whatsapp messaging with very nominal fee like SMS. Why Absit is charging higher than that?
A: We highly recommend reputed organizations to escape from such practices. They are against Whatsapp business policy and any time Whatsapp can take legal action against it.

Q: Can we send message in a group.
A: Whatsapp has discontinued sending messages in group since Oct 2020 using API.

Q: Will you charge for the undelivered or unread messages ?
A: We will charge for every contact irrespective of message read or undelivered.

Q: How does the credit system for sending work?
A: Send text, images, audio and PDF for unit price per message. The unit price will change depending the country code of the recipient.

Q: How does the credit system for replies work?
A: If you sent a message and reply back within the first 24 hours of receiving it, that reply doesn't have cost. It's free.

Q: So when I send a message and the recipient replies back, do I not pay for the sending?
A: No. You will not pay for messages that you send after receiving a message from the recipient within 24 hours.

Q: So if I send a message and reply back within 24 hours, the reply is free?
A: Exactly.

Q: What happens if in the middle of sending I run out of credit?
A: Each time we check that you have sufficient credit to send the messages.

Q: For how long are my credits available?
A: Your credit has no expiration date. Absit is being from 2003.

Q: It works in all countries?
A: Yes.

Q: Does it work in all languages?
A: Yes. You can send messages in all languages and alphabets.

Q: Do I have reception and sending reports?
A: The system will provide detailed information from all sent and received messages in the "Message Report" section.

Q: WhatsApp blocking / banning - Disclaimer
A: WhatsApp monitors closely the type of message you send. Sending unsolicited messages (SPAM) that your recipients are not expecting or want to receive, can result in WhatsApp permanently banning your number or IP. This is an action that WhatsApp takes, and the system has no control or responsibility over it.
Some cases where we are certain that your number will be banned are:

Sending messages to people that haven’t agreed to receive messages from you or that have no connection to you or your business.

Sending messages to numbers that don’t exist or that don’t have WhatsApp installed.

Sending messages for debt recovery (people will report it as SPAM).

Sending messages to numbers of other countries.

Q: If my number is banned, what happens? Do I loose everything?
A: If your number is banned by WhatsApp you won't be able to use it again. The credit that remains in the account will be intact. You can continue using our system normally linking a new number. We will not charge anything for changing registered phone number.
